Ekonomi Digital dan Perubahan Paradigma Konsumsi: Kajian Teoritis atas Pola Konsumsi Modern

Perkembangan ekonomi digital telah mengubah secara mendasar cara konsumen berperilaku dan membuat keputusan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji ulang paradigma konsumsi klasik dengan fokus pada bagaimana digitalisasi memengaruhi preferensi, utilitas, dan rasionalitas konsumen. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis studi pustaka, artikel ini menyintesis literatur kontemporer untuk merumuskan ulang teori konsumsi dalam konteks digital. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa preferensi konsumen bersifat dinamis dan terbentuk melalui interaksi sosial digital dan algoritma. Konsep utilitas mengalami pergeseran dari nilai guna murni menjadi nilai multidimensi yang melibatkan simbolik, emosi, dan identitas. Selain itu, asumsi rasionalitas penuh tidak lagi memadai dalam menjelaskan perilaku konsumsi modern yang kerap dipengaruhi oleh bias, nudge, dan struktur platform digital. Penelitian ini mengusulkan kerangka ekonomi mikro digital yang memperluas asumsi-asumsi dasar teori ekonomi klasik agar lebih kontekstual terhadap era digital. Temuan ini diharapkan menjadi landasan konseptual bagi riset lanjutan dan perumusan kebijakan yang lebih relevan terhadap dinamika konsumsi masa kini.
