Employee Engagement Sebagai Kunci Meningkatkan Kinerja Karyawan

Keterlibatan karyawan adalah konsep luas yang menyentuh hampir semua aspek manajemen sumber daya manusia yang kita ketahui hingga saat ini. Jika setiap bagian dari sumber daya manusia tidak ditangani dengan cara yang tepat, karyawan gagal untuk sepenuhnya terlibat dalam pekerjaan mereka sebagai respons terhadap manajemen yang buruk tersebut. Konsep keterlibatan karyawan dibangun di atas fondasi konsep-konsep sebelumnya seperti kepuasan kerja, komitmen karyawan, dan perilaku kewarganegaraan organisasi. Meskipun terkait, keterlibatan karyawan memiliki cakupan yang lebih luas dan merupakan prediktor yang lebih kuat terhadap kinerja organisasi yang positif. Karyawan yang terlibat secara emosional terikat pada organisasi mereka, melakukan upaya ekstra di luar perjanjian kontrak kerja demi keberhasilan perusahaan. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa keterlibatan tersebut secara signifikan meningkatkan retensi dan produktivitas karyawan melalui dimensi semangat, dedikasi, dan penghayatan dalam bekerja.
