Abstract

Employee engagement telah menjadi faktor utama yang mengetahui retensi karyawan, terutama pada organisasi yang menghadapi tingkat turnover tinggi. Penelitian ini menelaah bagaimana engagement berkontribusi terhadap retensi dengan mengkaji aspek psikologis, emosi dan organisasi yang memengaruhi keputusan karyawan untuk tetap bekerja. Metode penelitian menggunakan survey kuantitatif yang disebarkan kepada karyawan sektor jasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karyawan dengan engagement yang tinggi cenderung berkomitmen kuat pada organisasi, tingkat turnover intention yang rendah, keputusan kerja lebih tinggi, serta ikatan emosional yang lebih mendalam terhadap organisasi. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya meningkatkan engagement melalui dukungan pimpinan, sistem apresiasi, lingkungan kerja yang kondusif dan memberikan makna dalam pekerjaan.
