Abstract

Employee engagement merupakan salah satu isu strategis dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia modern karena berkaitan langsung dengan kinerja, loyalitas, dan keberlanjutan organisasi. Tingkat keterikatan karyawan yang rendah dapat berdampak pada menurunnya produktivitas, meningkatnya turnover, serta melemahnya daya saing organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep employee engagement secara komprehensif, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya, serta menjelaskan implikasi employee engagement terhadap kinerja karyawan dan organisasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan menelaah berbagai jurnal ilmiah, buku, dan publikasi relevan dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa employee engagement dipengaruhi oleh faktor kepemimpinan, lingkungan kerja, budaya organisasi, sistem penghargaan, serta peluang pengembangan karier. Selain itu, employee engagement terbukti memiliki hubungan positif dengan kinerja individu, kepuasan kerja, dan komitmen organisasi. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi akademik dan praktis bagi organisasi dalam merancang strategi pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang berorientasi pada peningkatan keterikatan karyawan secara berkelanjutan.
